This letter is for recommendation of the services provided by Hynes Home Improvement.  We replaced our wood siding with vinyl along with replacement windows for most of the house.  The whole process was handled with great professionalism.  John’s recommendation of the siding choice was really spot on as I probably would not have realize that a little edging made the biggest difference on the overall look.

The actual job was handled quickly but with care in craftsmanship.  The inside work was performed in one day with 16 windows replaced so as to have minimal internal disruption to the family.  The windows were then finished off on the outside with the siding being replaced.

Clean up was performed at the end of every day and then a final clean up once the dumpster was removed.  I did comment to Jim that I found some nails in the driveway that were very hard to notice. He welcomed the comment and felt that they would reinstate use of a metal detector going forward.

We would highly recommend Hynes Home Improvement.  We plan to have the remaining windows replaced within the year and possibly finish off with siding on the garage.

Dear John & Michelle,

I felt compelled to write you and let you know how happy I am with the work you did on my house. After 28 years there were some improvements that needed to be made that I put off for too long.  The new roof, windows, front door and siding totally transformed the look of the house. It looks fabulous – almost like a brand new house!

I must say that I have heard all the horror stories associated with contractors and renovations and experienced none of them with you. John Mooney did a great job of letting me know my options and gave his opinion on what he thought should be done. Of course cost was a concern and he made it affordable to do business with you. Your crews were great! They were on time, worked non-stop (in 90 degree weather) and cleaned up when they were done.  The roof and windows were done in one day each and the siding in a day and a half. The detail to the small things I hadn’t thought of like color coordinating the dryer vent and receptacle covers really made the difference.  The original plan was to take off the old siding and then put up the new. However when discussing this in passing with your window crew foreman, Yuri, he suggested it would be better for insulation purposes to put the new siding over the old. I mentioned this to John Hynes and he did some research and agreed. It also saved some money.

Again, I want to let you know that the house turned out great and your entire company was a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to use you again, in fact we should talk about painting the door, gutters and light fixtures next. Please do not hesitate to have any prospective customers give me a call.
