In a scenario like this, you need to be sure that your contractor will do everything to make sure the work that they have already completed is secured and safe from the weather and your home itself will remain safe in the interim period.

While there’s work being carried out on your roof, the rest of the property should not incur any damage resulting from poor planning or carelessness on your contractor’s part. Check with the contractor in advance about how they plan on protecting your home while the work is on and if they’ll cover the cost of any accident that may happen.
